What happens when two people meet?

I may not be finished, but I'm submiting anyways. (You all know how lazy I am)
This picture may seem, at first, almost religious.... as if the horse was a gardian angel of sorts; however, this isn't the case.
I seriously debated whether I should make the horse a unicorn but I decided not too since I wanted to avoid the mythological element, as stated above. I'm not someone who places faith in the unknown, I'm someone who believes in love and emotion.
Too me, that's what this picture is all about. It's about freindship and connections.
The hand is my own and the horse is symbolic of all that is important to me.
With that said, I tried to convey different emotions through the hand... a sense hesitation and wonder at the same time.

On a more technical note.... ugg.... that hand wasn't painted so well
I probably should have spend more time on it.... maybe I will. I do like the background though and the horse's face.
Overall... I'm quite proud of the final result

MAJOR EDIT: Like I had previously mentioned, I wasn't sure if I was finished. It's been a long while (years?) but I decided that I wasn't done. I repainted almost everything. I completely repainted the mane and fixed the horse (especially that ugly eye it used to have ) See scraps for before and after.
